Christmas in Mallorca
In Mallorca you can feel and breathe Christmas in every corner of the island

In Mallorca you can feel and breathe Christmas in every corner of the island. In MLL we have been infected by the spirit of Christmas and we want to spread a little to you sharing some of the best plans to enjoy Christmas in Mallorca.

Whether you are on holiday in Mallorca or if you are a resident on the island and are with family and children or with friends or with your partner, the plan par excellence of Mallorca is the walk through the center of the capital, Palma, to enjoy the Christmas lights that are placed in the main streets of the Mallorcan capital.

We recommend that you enjoy classic moments such as the mythical walk along the Born, passing by the Plaza Mayor and enjoying the lights that cover the sky of the square and visit the many booths that are set up in the center of it with typical Christmas products such as Christmas decorations, gifts and typical products of the island.

And as could not be otherwise and to warm up after a stroll through the streets of the capital, end up drinking a hot chocolate with churros or ordering roasted chestnuts in one of the stalls that flood the streets with that magnificent smell of roasted chestnuts so characteristic of Majorcan Christmas.

These are the most characteristic plans of these dates. But the plans par excellence to enjoy the magic of Christmas in Mallorca.

Christmas markets in Mallorca:

The island of Mallorca is known for its large Christmas markets that are located in some of the most strategic points of the capital and the island. Without a doubt, Mallorca's Christmas markets are the key to flooding with Christmas spirit the residents and tourist visitors who come to enjoy a wonderful Christmas in Mallorca.  Below we highlight some of the markets par excellence of the island that are undoubtedly a mandatory stop for these holidays:

This Christmas market, which is organised every year in the Pueblo Español, is open throughout the month of December. During Christmas, the streets and squares of the Pueblo Español become the epicentre of an incredible winter paradise, with a wide range of stalls and Christmas booths offering both gift products and Christmas decoration as well as gastronomic products typical of the dates and the place.

Christmas Market in Puerto Portals

The magic of Christmas invades Puerto Portals between 11 December and the expected 6 January. This Christmas market is located in Calvià and in addition to numerous stalls and Christmas music is famous for the visit of Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men. Another of the strong points of the Christmas Market in Puerto Portals is the exclusivity of the rich and varied gastronomy that you will be able to taste in its stalls.

Christmas market and fair in Sineu

This market was created with the aim of celebrating the Sineu craftsmen's fair. A place where you can find traditional products and above all where you can appreciate and purchase typical products and crafts of the residents of the village of Sineu. An initiative that arises to promote the recognition of the local crafts of the village.

Route of cribs through Palma

Another of the proposals par excellence of Majorcan Christmas is the visit to the different cribs that are mounted in various places in the city.
